Zerinika is still very agile from her time as a Rogue, and her muscle mass and structure shows it obviously. Very sensitive to high pitches and has thick fur along her back that protect her weak point.
Personality: Bouncy|Happy|Curious|Loyal|Bubbly
Zerinika had a complete personality switch when she was revived, and she reverted back to her true self, happy and joyful. Extremely loyal to Jest, she will follow him around and only call him by the name Master. She has no idea of the fear she caused in her previous state, though she still has nightmares and visions of her past life, and these scare her to the point where if she has one, she will often run for the closest cover, or will freeze up and shake in terror.
Background:
She was hatched in a lab where a queer being with a robotic arm was watching her intently. He dubbed her as Zerinika and they were best of friends. Zerinika was special to the cyborg, and she knew it, but that was when everything went wrong.
Her Master turned on her, pinning her to a table and painfully sawing off all her talons except the ones on her feet. Then he forged them all together and then grafted it onto the tip of her tail. Zerinika passed out, and was dragged out of the room and put into a metal room. When she woke she was alone. Always alone and desperate. She spent years in that cell, occasionally getting foot and small trinkets. She usually got bracelets and rings, which she would slip onto her tail to cover up the messy grafting.
Soon she began to get lonelier and lonelier, until finally she began to go insane from the lack of socialization. Her blue eyes were tainted purple, which soon turned a dark blood red. As she grew she practiced with her blade, getting better and better, and before long she had cut a thick slice out of the cell. Her blue colors drained, and all that was left were her green wings, but even they were dulled. Eventually, she snapped.
Fed up of being abandoned, Zerinika snapped and rammed against the door, laughing as the scientists outside panicked. She heard her Master's name being cursed and yelled around the lab. She felt them barring the door as she slammed against it. Eventually she gave the door a full blown slice, tearing the whole thing off it's hinges.
Blood sprayed everywhere, the ground painted a beautiful crimson. Blood stained her frame, and she loved it. She grabbed a group of pendants that had a jem on them - black obsidian. The jewels were enchanted - her Master's work - and glowed blood red. Slipping one on she escaped, forming a band of outcasts and loners called Zerinika's Rouges.
Her Rouges became feared, making everyone flee in terror. Her and her Deputy Obsidian, a fox-like creature with spines down it's back with a strange marking around his eyes were feared, called monsters, called dangerous, they loved it. However, she was betrayed.
Obsidian sent the Rogues out on an assassination mission, and turned on Zerinika. He attacked with dangerous precision, and was too fast for her. Before she knew it, Zerinika was pinned, with Obsidian promising to kill her when the time was right. Then, he was gone.
Zerinika was consumed by hate and ordered him to be killed. They hunted the bastard down to the realm of the Ruin Spirits and attacked. However, when he was attacked by her new deputy Rosto, he grinned at her. Confusion gripped Zerinika, before she advanced. "You're not getting this kill Zerinika" Zerinika growled. "Wanna bet?" However, as she advanced, Obsidian did the unthinkable. His blade moved faster than she could follow and in a few seconds, he had stabbed himself in the throat, signing his death. "I ain't giving you a choice. You're not killing me... Coward." Then, he was dead.
Zerinika, now ridded of that traitor, entered the Ruin Spirits realm and demanded a power from the Spirit of Darkness. She got two, Shadow Freight - the ability to control shadows, and Paralysis Fangs - her fangs were filled with paralysing venom that rotted her victim inside out within thirty seconds.
She resumed her attacks and killings, that was until she got word of a new group. She went to welcome them, Roguelike. That was when she had a run in with her Master. She wanted to kill him there and there, but she had to be tactical. She dueled against him and won, leaving him to try and find her. That was until plans changed.
The serpent and wyvern in the group were getting boring, so she assassinated them, however she was caught off guard by a new person in the group - Obsidian. He attacked her, and she retaliated with an attack of her own. Sparks flew at blade hit blade, and they were thrown apart. Obsidian attacked again and she got his shoulder, but he still stood. He attacked again, but this time he jumped onto her back and ripped at her back.
She flung him off, sending him into an invisible wall. He left a satisfying blood stain, but the bastard still stood. He attacked again, and this time Zerinika flung him into the wall with a wondrous crack. Just as she was about to kill him properly this time, she was forced to flee because of the Time Spirit attacking her.
She visited them again and again, but she still was not able to kill Obsidian. Then she caught them in the Last Citadel as the bell tolled. She attacked as the clock fizzed out everyones powers, and the battle started. She went for Obsidian, but the Exile dodged, before going after Rosto. Zerinika then went for Jest, but was distracted by Zen, the huntress whose family she killed. Just as she was going to attack however, Obsidian killed Rosto and went for her.
The battle was intense, but it ended as she attacked, Obsidian jumped at her as she swooped him, ripping out her throat with his jaws. Her first true feeling of sadness washed over her as she stared into her Master's eyes. "M-Master..." Then, she was gone.
She woke to a blue and silver head staring at her, Zerinika gasped and shuffed away, before looking around her. There was blood everywhere and bodies surrounded her. The sight frightened the wyvern and she whined. She looked towards the dragon and whimpered. A strange voice floated into her head. -Everyone deserves a second chance. even killers- The the dragon was gone. Zerinika didn't know what the dragon meant, but she didn't care.
She caught wind of her Master's scent and followed it, hoping that her Master had an answer for what happened.
